I've had mine for I'd say 4 months, it's great, the leather is beautiful, and doesn't jsut fold in half when you use it too much, it will last until I either grow out of it or I break it, it will take a LONG time to wear this thing out.

HOW DO I USE A WEIGHT-LIFTING BELT?

You're wearing the belt correctly when you breathe into it by expanding your stomach/core against the belt and then bracing. The belt should feel snug around your midsection.

A weightlifting belt supports your lower back by providing a surface for your core to brace against, allowing you to generate more power and stability during lifts.

Wear a lifting belt when lifting heavy weights. "Heavy" varies based on individual strength levels. We recommend both beginners and advanced athletes use a lifting belt for their heaviest lifts.

Measure your waist and use this size chart:

  • Small: 21-30" waist (100cm length)
  • Medium: 30-34" waist (110cm length)
  • Large: 34-38" waist (120cm length)
  • Extra Large: 38-45" waist (130cm length)

The 13mm belt is thicker than the 10mm, providing additional support and typically greater durability for maximum loads.

The smell comes from the leather combined with resin used on the belt edges. To reduce the smell, air it outside (without getting it wet). With regular gym use, the smell will fade.
