Our wrist wraps are adjustable and designed to fit all sizes. You can adjust the tightness to achieve your preferred level of wrist support and flexibility.
When wearing wrist wraps, wrap the material around your wrist joint, extending slightly above and below it to provide adequate coverage. The tighter you wrap your wrists, the more support you'll generally feel, but the less flexibility you'll have. Adjust the tightness according to your training needs, making sure the wraps don't cause pain, numbness, or tingling.
All Katamu wrist wraps feature a thumb loop and Velcro closure. Follow these steps to put them on correctly:
- Position the thumb loop. Align the thumb loop with the base of your thumb, making sure the wrap will cover your wrist joint.
- Secure the thumb loop. Place your thumb through the loop to keep the wrap in position.
- Start wrapping. Hold the end of the wrap and wind the material around your wrist joint for the first full wrap.
- Wrap slightly above the wrist. Move the material upward and wrap just above the previous layer, overlapping most of the material to maintain coverage.
- Wrap slightly below the wrist. Move the material downward and wrap just below the wrist joint, continuing to overlap the previous layers.
- Continue wrapping and secure. Keep wrapping around your wrist, overlapping the material until you reach the end. Secure it with the Velcro closure.
- Adjust the tightness. If needed, readjust the wrap to achieve your desired level of support while maintaining comfortable movement and circulation.
Tip: Your wrist wraps should feel secure without causing pain, numbness, tingling, or changes in hand color. Loosen them if you experience any of these symptoms.
Your wrist wraps should feel snug enough to provide support without causing discomfort or restricting circulation. Tighter wraps generally provide more support but reduce wrist mobility. Adjust them according to the exercise you're performing and your comfort level.
Yes! You can easily loosen or tighten your wrist wraps between sets using the Velcro closure to achieve your preferred level of support and flexibility for different exercises.
We recommend hand-washing your wrist wraps with warm water and a mild detergent, then allowing them to air-dry completely before storing them. Do not machine-wash or machine-dry your wrist wraps, as this may damage the material.
Tip: Secure the Velcro tabs before washing to prevent them from snagging or damaging the fabric.
